i know i havnt posted a journal in forever XD im just not a journal person but here it goes

recently ive been trying to start a business as an entertainer. i have business cards and stuff but dunno if i need insurance or a license or anything (TriXter Entertainment by the way) but anyways.

last weekend there was an event here in a large park down town called Art in the Park where people get tents and set up in areas to sell their arts and crafts. there was a lot of cool stuff this year but thats besides the point.

i took the opportunity of this large gathering of people to test my street performer skills. i set up a stereo under a tree and brought my chinese yoyos (diabolos) my yoyos and my contact juggling balls and a set of poi and did my thing.

First day i made 25 bucks in an hour in tips which i had no idea id make anything XD i also handed out some business cards and people said i was great ^^

Second day i made 30 bucks in an hour BUT near the end of my time i was in the middle of a performance and i saw 2 cops watching me. as i finished they walked over and took me aside but first they shouted to the startled gasping crowd who thought i was gonna be hauled off in a cop car to give me a round of applause XD
they asked if i had registered to be there and performing, i said no and that i wasnt demanding money for my services. they informed me i needed to be registered to do what i was doing and that i was generating too much money and too big of a crowd, stealing customers from the vendors that pay to be there XD

SOOOO all in all i made 55 bucks in a weekend doing what i love which is awesome, got some advertisement for my new business and got "complimented" by the police kicking me out that basically i was too good to stay there XD lol so yea, thats the big thing thats happend recently :3
